As I write this I am drinking the worst tasting concoction. And let me tell you. I’ve come to love this stuff. Not really. But in some small way. I’m really thankful I stumbled upon it. I give the credit to God and then to my husband. Here’s what happened.
I was 5 months pregnant with my 5th child and had been eaten the greasiest bacon cheeseburger EVER. That night I experienced what I believe was a gallbladder attack. I can’t confirm that because I never went to the Doctor. But anyhow, that night I sent my husband in search of something anything online that might help. He came back pretty quickly with this concoction of
1/2 cup of water
3 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
I choked it down and in 30 minutes all the horrible pain was gone. Not only that, but when I woke up in the morning I felt refreshed even though I had been up till 4 a.m. in the morning . Not only that, but my face had cleared up! What?!!! I had been dealing with a terrible case of adult acne for almost a year and had tried almost everything I could think of. Even when I was in high school my face looked better than this. I was so self conscious I didn’t even want to go to the store for fear of seeing someone I knew. I tried to cover my broken out skin with makeup but it only seemed to look worse and my skin was dry and irritated all the time. I was miserable. But the morning after this gallbladder attack, my face was clear. It was so weird. So I took the drink after each meal for almost a week and my face looked amazing. And the gallbladder attacks stopped. But if I wasn’t careful and ate food that was just too rich for my body to process, I would pay for it in the wee hours of the morning. But I could always stop the attacks if I had a concoction.
I had been praying about my skin for over a year when God showed me a cure through my husband’s blessed online search. So simple. I think my body’s PH was off. I’ve always struggled with Candida Albicans yeast infections. When my 1st son was about 5 months old I got a yeast infection in my breasts. That was so horribly painful, but I nursed my son through it anyways. It felt like broken glass scraping my breast every time I’d feed him. It wasn’t the last time I dealt with it either.
But this little concoction of vinegar, baking soda and water was literally a Godsend. And I still use it when my face starts looking not so clear. It has been breaking out again lately and I’ve noticed I’ve been feeling that familiar itchy feeling. But I’m going to ramp up my Oregano oil capsules I think. I have been trying to drink a glass of wine a day to use up the homemade wine that’s taking up space in the fridge. And I think that’s what’s throwing my body’s PH off and allowing the overgrowth of candida. I’m so thankful now though that God has shed light on this for me. And shown me some simple solutions like Oregano oil capsules, Essential Oil blends to itchy affected parts of my body. And a simple nasty tasting concoction. He’s my Great Physician.
